Mourner's Dress with Shrouded Hood, Thalmor Boots, and Gloves. MRoIllusion, Shrouded Hood, Jester's Boots, and Gloves on a Dunmer Nightblade (On Shadowmere) Master Robes of Destruction, Nahkriin, ebony boots, gauntlets, and handaxe on a Redguard Spellsword. Here's a few example outfits with various builds: Morokei, Nahkriin, Vocun, and the Diadem of the Savant also help out with Casting Costs. Some people like the Archmage's Robes, they're alright. I also often wear Heavy Helmets, Boots/Gauntlets around robes for minimal armor with the magical assistance. Thalmor boots/gloves match any of those fairly well, and can be Enchanted. For Males, I like Ulfric's clothes, females Mourner's Dress simpply for the way they look, but Master Robes look like a fantasy trenchcoat on males. You're better off using Extra Effect to enchant both seperately. If you DiY, the discount for Fortify School&Magicka Regeneration is fixed, while the latter part is what scales. Pick the school you use the most Magicka on to get the most out of the Enchantment. (Uner the portico in Solitude, just past the chopping block.) I generally build around Master Robes, because they are better than anything else you can buy or make. If you Enchant, then swing by Radient Rainment for the best selection.
